Delivering good and outstanding lessons consistently

There is no magic formula that will guarantee outstanding lessons every time. However, there are things that effective teachers do in most lessons that engage and challenge students and help them to learn ‘deeply’.

The session will drawn on Marzano (1998 and 2001), Petty (2006), Hattie (2009) and others who seek to discover, ‘what effective teachers do to promote learning.’ The session will also be influenced by BCLD’s experiences working with over 50 UK colleges and most importantly by the specific needs and expectations of each unique client.
